Searching for 35 brave souls

10 years ago, I answered an application that changed my life. My personal story is that I was in a job interview and the woman on the other side of the table asked me: So what do you like to do? I believe her name was Tina. I started mumbeling about what I liked to do… and I like to do a alot… so I just kept on talking. After what must have been too long she smiled and said: […]

Star Wars vs. Game of Thrones

If you have seen the movies or read the books… this is funny 🙂 Cersei’s respons to Leia is spot on. In these cases I just love the internet! Get more here.

If you loose a sense…

Sometimes you see or read somethings that makes you either smile, laugh or think. I think I experienced all of it when I came by this fantastic little note. “If you loose one sense, your other senses are enhanced. Thant’s why people with no sense of comic have an increased sense of self-importance.” I guess you can picture a person where this statement fits very well…. At least I can.

Don’t Walk – Dance

I really like this message! So simple and so straight forward. Don’t just be a zombie in the street, create you own fun. Experience what will happen if you open up and start interacting with others. Dance you way through life and have fun while living! Challenge of the month: Don’t walk. Dance!

Getting lost will help you find your self

Getting Lost will help you find yourself

I haven’t been blogging in a looong time now. Too long if you ask me. Yesterday I had a conversation with me friend Gorka around this. Why am I not blogging that much any more? and what should I blog about and bla bla bla. I came to the conclusion that I do “blog” a lot ON MICRO BLOGS. everyday Twitter is rolling, nearly everyday a new photo of graffiti is posted to Instagram, Flickr is Flickr and Facebook is […]

The debate about online interaction! Comment or not-to-comment?

There are many talks in the corners if companies should open up for a two way communication by for example having a comment thread on their blog, or an open page on facebook. I love this debate because it brings forward so many different aspects of the challenges the different companies are facing. My personal opinion is; YES it should be opened up! The question is then how you deal with it. And this is a challenge for everybody! Yesterday I came by this little […]

Fantastic stop motion video

Fantastic stop motion video.

I have seen this video a couple of times by now and I must say I find it really inspiring! Stop motion takes for ever to make. I know from my own experience. This video must have been days maybe weeks in the making. I find the result very inspiring for future projects and ways of seeing possibilities for alternative communication. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Sarhat my favorite little kid from Copenhagen!!

Yesterday I wrote a very serious blog post about how horrible and awful I found Alex Ahrendtsen election video campaign. And that made me think of what I really do like instead. In order to stay within the frames: integration, open boarders and video… I started looking for a video I saw along time ago! I love this video with little Sarhat from Nørrebro Copenhagen dropping knowledge to a great little beat! It´s all in danish but the boy really do have some […]

If you cant sell it – add SEX.

Isn´t that one of the first rules of advertisement? That´s at least what these guys did! I am not sure how much more they sell.. but for sure they get attention around it! it got me to watch the video at least… maybe be course it was recommended to me or maybe be course of the action…? Any way if it´s a viral storm or not, it got me laughing! 🙂 [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9LBQZ3nxCU&feature=player_embedded] I found the video and photos on the Bandit […]

Researching made me remember – Guinness!

During an assignment today at Kadaver, I had to find different videos which turns negative associations into positive. While searching and searching I came to think of the time I lived in England. I did some bar jobs while studying English and one of the advertisement that I really remembered from back then was the Guinness – Evolution. When you see this one then think back to 2005 or so, where it´s from, and imagine that you just ordered a pint of Guinness – and […]

Bikes in Copenhagen – and Abus marketing campaign

I have been without a bike for a very long time! – some people would say too long..! Now however i finally got my self together to invest in a bike. I found a pretty good one for a cheap price and then came the next question. Which lock should I get? probably the most important choice if you don´t want the bike stolen… And believe it or not but there is a lot of bikes being stolen in Copenhagen! […]

The blog only lives in my head!

For way too long this blog has only been living in my head! It has been trying to get out, but it got stopped by the heavy workload! Most of my blogging time, have been spent on voluntary work for Masanga Hospital and the Christmas Calender blog. See it at www.masangacreatinglife.wordpress.com. I made a new update every day during December with stories from the different volunteers at the Masanga Hospital. In order to get the many blogupdates down in written […]

Direct Marketing shop Shanghai, China

China is never overdoing it…

The expression from the culture I am from: “That´s just too much!” just don´t exist in Shanghai, China. At least it doesn´t look like it… Yesterday when I was walking towards a subway station I came by two shops in the same building, both marketing towards their customers and trying to get us/them to enter the shop. It was like a sort of competition of who could make the most red fuss and be most visible and play the loudest […]

Tankograd the Movie

This saturday I went to a movie screening of Tanograd in the very cozy cinema “Øst for paradis” (east of paradis) in Århus. The screening was combined with music performance of the soundtrack plus extra improvisations. The soundtrack is made by Ghost Society who did a short and very cozy performance on stage after the movie. Borris B. Bertram who made the documentary movie talked shortly about the process of making the movie. He asked questions from the audience, which […]

My life in Copenhagen

Everyday I look at my blog, and I question my self why I don´t update more often. Then I ask my self: “what is there to post and share”? My reflections about the use of this blog is pretty interesting for me. It turns out that my blog have been used mainly to tell about travels, and thereby show pictures from different corners of the world and episodes that I have been in. I would like to keep that stile, […]

Botanic Garden in Århus

The April snow in Copenhagen today, made me think of a photo I captured in the Botanic garden in Århus a bit more than one month back. It´s the time where the heat and the sun overrules the ice and the cold! Where the snow is melting and green grass is showing from underneath, proving life. The random snow falling from the sky today, took me right back in that setting. I captured this photo in Århus when I was […]

This Blog, its origin and the blog supporters

Blogging photos like this, is my main reason for blogging at all. This blog post goes out as an acknowledgment to those who have inspired me to get started with social medias such as blogging, twitter, facebook, ning, flickr etc. The idea of starting blogging came from the many different projects and […]

Oslo, Norway Feb.2010 = Winter!

I just returned from a great trip to Oslo, Norway. This time a year that part of the world is extremely cold. I was there with my girl friend Lisbet and we both enjoy walking around when visiting new places, and so we did… in the cold. I had my camera with me all the time, but must admit that it was to cold to snap as many pictures as I normally do… Here are two that I like from […]

Browsing old photos from Århus

When I was browsing through some of the photos on my hard drive from Århus, I came by this one. A photo that tells some of the stories for what you can see when you stroll around the outskirts of the city. I spent 3 years in Århus studying at the Kaospilot education, all those years I missed Copenhagen. Now being back in Copenhagen and finding photos like this one from the hard drive I miss the surroundings of Århus. […]

Winter in Copenhagen

The other day I took a walk in the cold but fresh winter weather in Copenhagen with my two friends Mark H. Beanland and Anders Graae. We were chilling around with the idea of finding a nice little place to eat. On our way we passed the frozen lakes… It was a pretty great feeling to walk on solid ice! this shows how much colder it is this year compared to last year. Around last year I made this blog […]

Neon Girls at Rust in Copenhagen

One of very good friends Anders Møller Toft, formed the band Neon Girls for a couple of months ago. They had the first couple of gigs before they had a name, and they have been having to create new sound tracks in order to fill out the time slot provided to them! They are productive and charming! I love the 90´ish touch of electro and pop. I went to check them out at Rust in Copenhagen and I was amazed! […]

against Lømmelpakken cop15 police arrest

When laws kills democracy – Copenhagen 2009

The Danish democracy agreed upon the new law called “Lømmelpakken” in order to prevent street riots during Cop15 in Copenhagen, and in order to address the ongoing “gang wars” in Copenhagen. Lømmelpakken makes it possible for the police to arrest people based on assumptions for what they might do later. As my good friend Mark Beanland writes on his blog: that is the society we see in the movie Minority Report directed by Steven Spielberg. I do understand that the […]

Cop15 Copenhagen = Demonstrations, frustrations and police forces

Cop15 is about to finish and I am very exited to see where it will end. In general i have been more focused on what have happened outside the Bella Center, than Inside. The social network Twitter has been a great help to keep track of the progress and the chaos… Just now when I am writing this, Tan Copsey from the Green Party in New Zealand tweets that Obama and Wen Jiaboa are making progress. You can follow Tan […]

Trash attack Copenhagen pink trash on ground cigerate

Trash Attack in Copenhagen just before the Cop15

A group of young environmental minded people in Copenhagen took action against dump of waste in the streets. By dressing up in pink suits and using pink dresses they ended a tree day long campaign. They carried out the message with pink light installations and pink colored trash at the event area, Christianshavns torv. I like the way of communicating a message through fun initiative and not by blaming. A bit like the mindset of the organization Viva La Renovation […]
